Gordon Brown and the Labour party are a spent force, they lack original ideas and energy. Brown lacks gravitas, sincerity and direction. No re-shuffle will ever create what is needed to get this party of government back in the driving seat. We have another 2 years to put up with the farce.

Yikes! That is really rather nasty. I am scared of cars and the road anyway, and try desperately hard not to accept lifts when offered by my colleagues. I can usually find an excuse to walk instead.

I do hope you recover.

A friend of mine was in an accident and her internal injuries require major invasive surgery, with only moderate prospects of surviving the operation. No having the surgery would mean probable death in months or perhaps a year or so, I gather.

Primitive technology, with no inertial damping and no force-field or similar protection makes this non auto-piloted vehicles very dangerous. I hate them with a passion, and all the idiots who still buy what is essentially nineteenth-century (and older!) technology rather than pressing through market forces for something much, much better. I've never owned or driven one, and never will -- as a matter of personal principle. I don't buy garbage...

Are we allowed to include dead people?
I would place Stalin at the top,as Brown seems to be a great admirer of his methods. Also, George Orwell would be near the top. He gets there by default, as his dire warnings have been taken, not as warnings, but as instructions by this dreadful crop of marxist lawyers, champagne socialists and class warriors that are destroying our country.
